Fleet, transport & logistics — Cambridge
Fleet, transport & logistics — Cambridge
V-TUF supplies hot-water pressure washers, diesel-fired mobile cleaning systems and heavy-duty industrial vacuums to fleet managers, depot supervisors and logistics operators across Cambridge and Cambridgeshire. The A14/M11 corridor is one of the most significant logistics routes in the East of England — connecting Cambridge to the national motorway network, Felixstowe port, the East Midlands distribution hub and the M25 orbital. Magna Park at Huntingdon — one of the largest dedicated logistics parks in the UK — houses Amazon, DHL, Kuehne+Nagel and Clipper Logistics, generating sustained HGV fleet cleaning demand across the Cambridgeshire logistics corridor. Stagecoach East operates Cambridge's city and county bus network from Cowley Road depot. The University of Cambridge operates one of the largest vehicle fleets in the county across its estate, laboratories and transport service operations. Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust operates a large patient transport and facilities vehicle fleet across the Addenbrooke's and Rosie Hospital estates. AstraZeneca at Granta Park runs a significant on-site shuttle, delivery and specialist vehicle fleet requiring regular depot and hard standing wash-down across one of the most biosensitive campus environments in the UK.

V-TUF MAMMOTH 240V Stainless — 80L heavy-duty wet/dry
240V, 3.5kW twin-motor, 80-litre stainless tank. Bus saloon interior cleaning, depot workshop floor maintenance and swarf/fluid collection across Cambridge fleet maintenance facilities. SKU MAMMOTH240-STAINLESS.
Typical use case — Magna Park Huntingdon logistics depot
A fleet maintenance team at a Magna Park distribution centre runs a RAPID VSC 415V three-phase hot water unit (150 bar, 15 L/min) in a fixed wash bay for HGV and rigid vehicle wash-down. Wash-water routes through a trade effluent drain under Anglian Water consent. A RAPID MSH 240V diesel-fired unit covers outdoor yard areas and loading dock apron cleaning where the fixed wash bay is out of service. MAMMOTH 240V Stainless handles interior cab cleaning and workshop floor maintenance. All machines on a single trade account — next-day delivery to PE29/PE28 postcodes.

Environmental permitting — washdown water and trade effluent →
Anglian Water trade effluent consent is required for all fleet wash-down water discharge to the public sewer across Cambridge and Cambridgeshire. Wash-down water must not enter the River Cam, River Great Ouse or the chalk stream network — including Hobson's Brook, the Bin Brook or the Bourn Brook — without an Environment Agency permit. Cambridge's chalk stream network is ecologically sensitive and actively enforced by the Environment Agency's Anglian region. AstraZeneca's Granta Park campus generates specific biosecurity and environmental compliance requirements for vehicle wash-down water — campus-specific consent arrangements apply.
Servicing, spares and ongoing support
All V-TUF pressure washers and industrial vacuums are supported with UK-based spare parts availability and full servicing support. Pumps, heater components, hoses and electrical parts are held for every machine in current production to minimise downtime across Cambridge and Cambridgeshire fleet operations.
