Marine, Fishing & Fleet Equipment — Cornwall

Marine, fishing & fleet — Cornwall

V-TUF supplies hot-water pressure washers, diesel-fired mobile cleaning systems and heavy-duty industrial vacuums to fishing vessel operators, boat yards, quayside operators, fleet managers and logistics businesses across Cornwall. Newlyn — one of the UK's most significant fishing ports — handles substantial volumes of pelagic and demersal fish annually, with fishing vessel wash-down, quayside cleaning and processing facility hygiene generating sustained hot-water cleaning demand. Falmouth's boat yard and marine engineering sector — including Falmouth Boat Construction and the Pendennis Superyacht facility — generates boat yard, slipway and workshop cleaning demand at the premium end of the marine spectrum. Padstow, Mevagissey, Porthleven and the county's smaller working harbours all generate quayside and vessel cleaning demand. First Kernow operates bus services across Cornwall from depots in Truro and across the county. The A30/A38 logistics corridor serving Cornwall generates HGV fleet cleaning demand, alongside the substantial agricultural vehicle fleet operating across the peninsula. All fleet and marine wash-down water must be strictly contained — Cornwall's coastal geography and the Environment Agency South West's active enforcement make discharge to coastal waters one of the most rigorously enforced issues in the county.

Typical use case — Newlyn fishing fleet quayside wash-down

A Newlyn fish buyer runs RAPID MSH 240V (240V, 120 bar, diesel-fired) for vessel deck and hold wash-down between landings — fish residue, scale and organic matter require hot water to clean effectively. All wash-down water is contained on the quayside — discharge to the harbour without consent is a criminal offence enforced by the Environment Agency South West. RAPID VSC 240V stainless covers fish processing area cleaning adjacent to the quay. Fleet account — next-day parts delivery to TR18 postcode.

Environmental permitting — washdown water and trade effluent →

South West Water trade effluent consent required for all fish processing, boat yard and fleet wash-down water discharge to the public sewer across Cornwall. Fish processing effluent, boat yard oils, antifouling residue and fleet wash-down water must not enter harbours, estuaries or the sea without an Environment Agency permit. The Marine Management Organisation applies additional environmental controls within designated harbour limits at Newlyn and Falmouth.

Servicing, spares and ongoing support

All V-TUF pressure washers and industrial vacuums are supported with UK-based spare parts availability and full servicing support.
