Motorsport Valley — Industrial Cleaning Equipment for the UK Motorsport Industry
Industrial cleaning equipment for the UK motorsport industry
V-TUF supplies H-Class and M-Class dust extractors, hot-water pressure washers, stainless cleaning systems and heavy-duty industrial vacuums to Formula 1 teams, motorsport engineering companies, race car manufacturers, composites specialists and the wider Motorsport Valley supply chain across Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire and the Thames Valley corridor.
The cleaning and dust extraction requirements of a modern F1 factory or motorsport engineering facility are more demanding than almost any other industrial environment — carbon fibre composite dust requires H-Class extraction under COSHH 2002, resin and epoxy grinding generates hazardous dust, and race bay fluid management involves coolant, hydraulic fluid and fuel residue that must not enter controlled waters.

The Motorsport Valley corridor
Eight Formula 1 constructors operate within a 50-mile radius of Silverstone: Red Bull Racing (Milton Keynes), Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 (Brackley), Aston Martin Aramco F1 (Silverstone), Williams Racing (Grove), Alpine F1 (Enstone), Haas F1 (Banbury), Cadillac F1 (Silverstone Park), McLaren F1 (Woking).
COSHH 2002 — cleaning and extraction requirements in motorsport
Carbon fibre and composite dust — H-Class required
H-Class extraction (H14 HEPA, 99.995%) is the correct and legally defensible specification for all carbon fibre cutting, grinding and machining operations. The V-TUF MIDI H-Class is the correct specification for carbon fibre dust extraction. View MIDI H-Class dust extractor →
Resin, epoxy and pre-preg dust — H-Class
H-Class extraction is required for all dry grinding, cutting and machining of cured epoxy composite materials.
Metallic dust — M-Class minimum
M-Class extraction is the minimum for aluminium, titanium and specialist alloy machining. Where beryllium alloys are involved, H-Class is mandatory.
