What’s going wrong?

5 things to check before anything else

1. Speed dial

Set the stepless speed dial to the level the job needs — a low setting looks like weak airflow.

2. G4 pre-filter

Fitted, seated and not clogged. The pre-filter protects the HEPA and keeps airflow up.

3. HEPA filter

Seated correctly and within its service life (H14 on 240V, H13 on 110V).

4. Inlet & outlet

Clear of obstructions and the unit positioned for good air circulation.

5. Power supply

Sound lead and socket; on 110V units check the transformer rating and condition.
