Troubleshoot Your VTUFT13
Covers the VTUFT13 trailer range — T13-GB200 (200 Bar, 21 L/min) and T13-GB250 (250 Bar, 15 L/min), both with 13HP Honda electric-start engine and gearbox pump on a roll-cage trailer frame.
Common issues
Engine will not start
Check engine oil level — Honda GX390 has a low-oil cut-out. Confirm fuel is fresh (under 30 days). For electric start: check the battery is charged. For pull-start: confirm the choke position. Check the fuel tap is ON and the stop switch is in RUN.
Low pressure or no pressure
Confirm water supply: at least 1 Bar inlet and sufficient flow for your model (21 L/min for GB200, 15 L/min for GB250). Rinse the inlet strainer. Bleed air from the pump by holding the trigger open for 30 seconds. Check the nozzle is not worn. If pressure still will not build, the gearbox pump valves or unloader may need attention — book service.
Engine stops during use
Check fuel level and oil level. Check the air filter is clean. Allow to cool if running hard before restarting.
Pump or gearbox leaking
Stop immediately. Oil or water leaking from the pump or gearbox indicates worn seals — book a service inspection.
