⚠️ Where competitors lead: The Karcher B 110 R leads on working width (75cm brushes, 95cm vacuum versus tufSCRUB's 65cm) and theoretical area coverage. The Tennant T12 leads on working width with side brush (104cm), recovery tank capacity (166L) and brush pressure (up to 114kg disc). These are honest findings — buyers covering very large areas or needing maximum brush pressure should note these differences.

What the numbers show

The tufSCRUB 65cm leads on solution tank capacity at 145L — 30% more than the Karcher BD 50/70 R at 68L and larger than the Karcher B 110 R at 110L. Only the Tennant T12 at 132L solution is in the same range, and the tufSCRUB leads the Tennant on solution tank while the Tennant leads on recovery tank. The tufSCRUB's adjustable brush pressure from 22–48kg covers a wide range of surface types from sensitive finishes through to aggressive scrubbing without a dedicated pad set change.

The tufSCRUB is significantly lighter than the Karcher B 110 R (265kg vs 380kg) and Tennant T12 (468kg empty) — relevant for floor loading limits in mezzanine, first-floor and older building environments where maximum floor load is a constraint. The tufSCRUB's 1470mm length versus the Tennant's 1710mm and Karcher B 110 R's 1695mm also means better maneuverability in tighter environments.

What this doesn't mean

The Karcher B 110 R and Tennant T12 are genuinely larger, higher-output machines. For logistics centres, distribution warehouses and large manufacturing facilities with very high floor area requirements and no floor loading constraints, the wider cleaning path and higher area performance of the B 110 R and T12 translate to fewer passes and faster completion. The tufSCRUB 65cm is not the right choice if maximum coverage speed is the only priority and floor space is unconstrained.

Who each machine suits

  • tufSCRUB 65cm Ride-On — facilities with floor loading limits, doorway clearance constraints, or where the 145L solution tank capacity is a priority for long runtime without refilling. Floating deck for uneven surfaces. UK manufacturer, Lincoln stock.
  • Karcher BD 50/70 R — compact ride-on for medium-sized facilities. Lowest weight, smallest footprint, 3-year warranty. Area performance suits retail and FM up to medium warehouse scale.
  • Karcher B 110 R — wide-area machine for large facilities. 75cm cleaning width, 10-year tank warranty. Heavier and larger than tufSCRUB — needs floor loading clearance.
  • Tennant T12 — highest brush pressure, widest path with side brush, largest solution/recovery tanks. The heaviest and largest machine in this comparison. For the most demanding large-floor environments.
