Legislation that applies

Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 — 415V 3-phase installation and connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Environmental Permitting Regulations 2016 — Commercial wash-down water from fleet depots and industrial facilities must not enter surface water drains. Trade effluent to sewer requires water company consent.

COSHH Regulations 2002 — Pressure washing with detergent or degreaser is a COSHH activity requiring assessment of operative exposure.
