Legislation that applies

Environmental Permitting Regulations 2016 — Hot water wash-down from farm and fleet environments must not enter surface water drains or watercourses.

COSHH Regulations 2002 — Hot water pressure washing with detergent and engine exhaust require COSHH assessment. Outdoor or well-ventilated use only.

BRC/BRCGS Food Safety Standard — Hot water cleaning at 70–80°C is the biosecurity standard for livestock and food production environments.
