Environmental Permitting Regulations 2016 — Wash-down water must not enter surface water drains. Hot water wash-down is trade effluent.
COSHH Regulations 2002 — Petrol exhaust and detergent require COSHH assessment. Outdoor use only.
BRC/BRCGS Food Safety Standard — Hot water cleaning at 70–80°C is assessed in food safety audits where used in food production biosecurity.
