Medium patio or driveway — 30 to 80 square metres

A larger patio, block paved driveway, or combination of patio and path. The V5 is the step up — 165 Bar and 7.2 L/min brushless motor means faster cleaning with a surface cleaner on block paving and concrete, and enough pressure for tougher biological staining on natural stone. A large block paved driveway, extensive external hard standing, or a property where the machine gets used frequently through the year. Do you need a surface cleaner?

A surface cleaner — the spinning disc attachment — is the single biggest upgrade for patio and driveway cleaning. It cleans 3–4 times faster than a lance, eliminates the streak lines that a fan jet leaves on block paving, and works with any V3, V5 or V7. If you're cleaning more than a small patio, it's worth having.

What about algae and moss?

Pressure washing removes visible algae and moss but doesn't kill the spores, so regrowth comes back within weeks on shaded and damp surfaces.
