Legislation that applies
Environmental Permitting Regulations 2016 — Wash-down water and diesel fuel spills must not enter surface water drains or watercourses.
COSHH Regulations 2002 — Diesel exhaust contains particulates and NOx. Outdoor or well-ventilated use is mandatory. Detergent use also requires COSHH assessment.
Working at Height Regulations 2005 — WAH 2005 applies where used for elevated surface cleaning.
