V-TUF ATX4500i 45L M-Class Compact Stainless 240V 1100W Industrial Dust Extractor (ATX4500i-240) is an ATEX-certified i-series brushless M-Class industrial vacuum in a stainless steel body for use in hazardous areas and demanding industrial environments.

Legislation that applies

DSEAR 2002 & ATEX — The ATX range is designed for use in ATEX Zone 22 classified environments where combustible dust creates an explosive atmosphere risk. Standard M-Class and H-Class vacuums are not rated for classified explosive atmosphere zones.

COSHH Regulations 2002 — Grain dust (WEL 4 mg/m³ inhalable), flour dust (WEL 1 mg/m³ inhalable) and other combustible dusts in food and grain processing environments require formal COSHH assessment and the correct extraction class.

Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 — Silos, hoppers and storage vessels in food processing and grain handling are confined spaces requiring atmospheric testing and safe systems of work before entry for cleaning.

HSE EH40 Workplace Exposure Limits — Grain dust and flour dust WELs apply across food production and agricultural environments where this machine is used.
